This product is part of Big Fish Audio's KLI series which includes a custom Kontakt interface. The Kontakt format includes patches of each construction kit, allowing for quick and easy arrangements of the parts. In addition there are "sliced loops" patches which lay out each individual slice of a loop on the keys to create new and original custom parts. Create, arrange, tweak, and mix all within the Kontakt format.

The KLI version of this product comes with the KLI 2.0 update and comes in both Kontakt 4 and Kontakt 5 versions. For those with the full version of Kontakt 5, take advantage of the new high quality and extremely flexible new time stretching algorithm as well as a bunch of new included FX.

WHAT’S NEW IN CINEBRASS 1.6?

CineBrass Core 1.6 now includes the addition of several new ‘Ensemble’ patches. These new patches combine the core instruments (Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba) into a single patch stretched across the keyboard. These Ensemble patches encompass most of the primary short and sustain articulations of each instrument, the ranges of which can be adjusted on the SETTINGS tab of the user interface.

Beneath the EQ area in the SETTINGS tab, you can find the “Advanced Controls” which is a unique setting we created specifically for these ensemble patches. The four knobs control the range of the different instruments within one section. The advanced controls are set to the instruments’ strongest pitch range by default but can be changed to any value so long it is within the range of the instrument. Again, the user can also assign MIDI CCs to these knobs.

CineBrass is revolutionary in its power and simplicity for recreating the sound of the orchestral brass section. The library was designed by composers, for composers, with direct feedback from the film music community during its development. The result is a brass library that is easy to use, composer-friendly, with unparalleled recording quality. CineBrass does not require you to purchase any sampling software, and is licensed to work with the free Kontakt Player. In collaboration with the Danish specialist sampling Skarbye Thomas (better known as his company Scarbee) and expert Ernest Cholakis impulse responses, Alicia Keys has created a virtual piano that meets their business needs and transcribed sound that bewitching became his trademark as an artist. This is the piano sound that helped Ms. Keys to win many Grammy and emerge ahead of the charts.

The piano ALICIA'S KEYS sampled for is the instrument and played by the artist in his own studio under the supervision of his faithful sound engineer Ann Mincieli.
